Key Skills -In depth experience of supporting Web-based applications ideally in .Net/Asp.net/C# technologies. Solid client facing support background is a must - faultfinding, troubleshooting and support. Even better if you have some Application server skills i.e. Weblogic or Websphere. This is an exiting permanent role based in Manchester.

Interesting role to join a growing team of IT application support consultants in Manchetser. The applications run on both UNIX platforms (Solaris, AIX and HP-UX, Linux) and Microsoft environments. The applications are developed in .Net 3.5 - so experience of Asp.Net and C# would be very useful. Comprehensive knowledge of databases is necessary with one of the major vendors on the market - Oracle, SQL Server and/or DB2/UDB. Candidates will also have a solid web technology background: web servers, html, xml, http, firewalls, networks etc - so we really need a general all rounder for web-based technical support who enjoys the challenge.

This role is varied and interesting as you will be providing support to a wide range of large companies- both from the UK and mainland Europe. You will be given plenty of time to investigate problems and will be actively encouraged to further develop your technical knowledge. They are stable, extremely profitable and growing fast so there are good career prospects.
