Accounts Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a successful and well established supply and distribution business based in Salford.

The role is an all encompassing accounts role covering a wide variety of accounts elements. The main accounts duties will include;

• Daily banking of cheques
• Till banking and till reconciliations
• Cash allocations
• Petty cash recording and maintaining
• Invoice runs
• Responsibility for the COD (cash on delivery) aspects of the business
• Answering telephone calls and resolving queries were possible
• Bank reconciliations
• General administration including filing /matching up of pick noted and delivery notes
• Nominal postings

Previous experience within an accounts environment is essential as is a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
