FLASH / FLEX DEVELOPER, GREATER MANCHESTER

We are currently looking for an experienced FLASH/FLEX DEVELOPER to join an ever expanding agency based in Manchester City Centre. This extremely dynamic organisation has seen and continues to see great expansion due to them winning many new projects on a regular basis. The successful DEVELOPER will be responsible for building complete Flash and Flex sites, according to specifications from client approved projects and the creative lead. You will be required to develop sites from conception through to completion including animation, programming and multimedia for digital communications. In addition to this, you will be expected to make revisions and amendments to current sites with minimal supervision. As this is a diverse role, the ability to handle multiple priorities running concurrently is a must.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have:

a demonstrable track record in web development using Flash/Flex
exceptional Object Oriented (OO) Actionscript skills, ideally in version 3.0.
an understanding of wider developement languages such as XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop

Experience of Flash Video, Flash Event Model and Audio Integration would be highly desirable, although not strictly essential, as would proficiency in code based animation.

Any experience architecting RIA's and data driven sites would also be beneficial.
