Volunteer Speakers needed for Manchester s No.1 Local Children s Charity
Barnardo’s may well be the largest and most diverse charity for children and young people in the UK, but we are also the most local. We have over 400 services across the country, all of which operate locally. Each service is tailor-made to target the specific needs arising in its immediate area, and help vulnerable children and young people in the surrounding community. Your community. No other children’s charity works this way and we are proud to be different, which is why we want to spread the word!
We need volunteers to talk to community groups, companies and other potential supporters in and around Manchester. You will be given full speaker training, an approved presentation and will have constant contact with your Community Fundraiser to ensure that you are fully supported. All we ask is that you’re willing to travel within the Greater Manchester area, confident to speak in front of a variety of friendly community groups varying from Rotary clubs to local businesses.
