£16,140 rising to £18,850 + bonus + benefits
Improving service standards is never far from our minds at British Gas. So if you know how to deliver the very best in customer service and how to hit some stretching targets, we’d like you to join us as a Sales and Service Advisor at our Homemove Contact Centre in Manchester.
As the name suggests, you’ll be taking calls from customers who are moving home. Your job will be to make sure they are fully updated on all our products and services – from gas and electricity to boiler cover and homecare – while spotting and converting the sales opportunities in as many calls as possible.
We’re looking for people who aren’t afraid of hitting targets and know how to sell to – as well as look after – our customers. The ability to build a rapport, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and a friendly, natural approach, are all essential. You’ll also need to be self-motivated and set yourself high standards.
In return, you can look forward to a great range of benefits including a quarterly performance related bonus of up to 12% of salary, an additional flexible allowance of 3% of salary for buying things like additional holiday or pension, commission and 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.
