JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Position: DOOR-TO-DOOR FUNDRAISER, fundraising on behalf of one of the UK’s leading charities, St John Ambulance.

The Locations: Cardiff, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds & London. You will need to be in a commutable distance to one of these locations in order to carry out the fundraising task.

Live-in positions also available in selected areas.

You will be self-employed & contracting your services to us in order to conduct this job role. The minimum contract of services is 4 consecutive weeks. We are always recruiting.

A minimum of 3 days and 30 hours per week must be committed to this job role.

THE CHARITY

St John Ambulance is the UK’s leading provider of first aid. The charity consists of no fewer than 45,000 volunteers making it one of the largest volunteer based charities in the UK. Every year the charity train hundreds of thousands of people in first aid who go on to assist many casualties at events within the public domain or as an organized group within St John, supporting the emergency services thus inevitably saving thousands of lives each year.

For all the work that the charity undertakes, St. John Ambulance receive no government funding and so rely on the monies earned from running training courses, small charges for certain public and private events and donations from the public, including the donations made through Wesser Ltd. In fact, Wesser’s raised funds now form over 40% of all voluntary contributions made to St John through various methods on a yearly basis, and this share is progressively growing.

THE JOB ROLE

You are required to promote and represent St John Ambulance, engaging with individuals on a one-on-one basis and use proven, effective, non-aggressive (soft-sale) techniques to sign up new supporters. It is furthermore your responsibility to negotiate with the potential supporter a suitable donation amount that is both fair and relative to their income but maximising support towards the charity, through the use of the direct debit process.

Wesser is specifically interested in recruiting sales professionals, who have had some experience with direct sales or marketing. Experience in door-to-door or telesales is preferred but not essential.

The Pay:

OTE Beginner £1000+ per month
OTE Intermediate £1500+ pm
OTE Advanced £2000+ pm
OTE Pro £2500+ pm
OTE Expert £3000+ pm
