Creative Cross Stitch Learn all you need in a simple 1 hour session
Date: Saturday 24 October
For witty, pretty and personal presents that are simple and speedy to make, cross stitch is the perfect quick fix craft. You can stitch up a storm in a teacup with a design that’s naughty or nice!
You’ll learn the basic stitches and then you can pick a design from our range of simple and quirky patterns or create your own name design by using our alphabet styles. You can then stitch away, under the watchful eye of our tutor and experimental cross stitcher, Rebecca Manley.
Once your design is completed, you can mount your work ready for hanging at home or giving to a loved one.
Cross stitch is family friendly and fun, so everyone can have a go. Feel free to bring along older or younger members of your family.

Skills at a glance: Learn the five basic stitches of cross stitch, how to follow a simple pattern and put together a simple alphabet design
